WHY THE HAWKESBURY, COLO & MACDONALD RIVERS?

A System Built for Bass

This catchment offers some of the most diverse bass habitat in NSW, including timber, rock, grass, eddies and depth. Success here comes from understanding how fish move with tides and flows, not from fishing the same way twice.

Three Rivers, One System
The Hawkesbury catchment offers unmatched variety, structure and opportunity.
Fish for Wild Native Bass

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

Meet Matt

Matt is a lifelong angler with decades of experience fishing river systems in both Australia and the United States. He brings a disciplined, tournament-honed approach to guiding, combining local knowledge with precise timing and decision-making to maximise opportunities on the water.

Having spent over six years fishing competitively for largemouth bass in the US, with more than 100 tournaments and multiple first-place finishes, Matt applies the same focus and preparation to every guided trip. After living in Sydney for over a decade and fishing the Hawkesbury catchment extensively, he knows these rivers intimately and fishes them with purpose.

“Matt’s local knowledge and attention to conditions made all the difference. A relaxed, well-run day with plenty of action and great fish.”
